SAFOD is the disability federation in Southern Africa. Persons with disabilities founded it in 1986. Today, we link 16 national affiliates across all 16 SADC member states. Through them, we reach people with every type of disability, in cities, towns and rural areas.
We work with 16 national affiliates, covering all 16 SADC Member States. Through these affiliates, we reach persons with all types of disabilities — in cities, towns, and rural communities across the region.
Our motto: Unlocking an Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities in Southern Africa.
