SAFOD was hosted by MACOHA and (CARD) during a three day learning visit in Malawi on the 13th – 15th of February 2024 in Nsanje district at Muona resource centre, T/A Mlolo.
The partners met with persons with disabilities who participated during collection of disaggregated data on disability and integration of data into disaster risk reduction planning in the 8 target communities.
The second day , the team interfaced with civil protection committees and organizations of persons with disabilities at the community level. The Committee shared their perspectives and involvement in disability rights and DiDRR .

Area disability forum (ADF), Association of persons with albinism (APAM), Parents of the disabled children in Malawi (PODCAM), Malawi Union of the blind (MUB), Department of disaster management affairs, district disability forum
