SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

This manual was developed as part of the project implemented by Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled (SAFOD) entitled "Enhgancing the capacity of DPOs in Swaziland in Promoting Policy Engagement towards Inclusive Legislation" which was funded by OSISA. One of the priorities of SAFOD is to ensure the promotion and protection of the rights and fundamental freedoms of persons with disabilities, including the respect for their inherent respect in Southern Africa. The pillar for this is the ratification, domestication and enforcement of disability inclusive legislation by States. This calls for effective strategic advocacy work by national DPOs.
